Dutch filmmaker Alex Pitstra is 25 years old when he receives a letter from his Tunisian father, whom he hasn’t seen since his early childhood: the man wants to meet him. In the ten years that follow, Alex tries to build a relationship with his newfound family in Tunisia. He convinces his Swiss half sister Jasmin to do the same.
